PH1004: Assignment 2 Exercise 1 - Character Development

For my project I got given Blade Runner, this is a futuristic 1982 film, which is set in Los Angeles in November 2019. From this film I chose to focus on the character Rachael. I am going to put a more modern spin on the look of the character using a different style hairstyle and a more

I am going to shoot this using the studio with a low-key lighting setup. I am going to use coloured gels to create the style of lighting in the film. I am also going to use a prop such as blinds and a harsh light to create the effect in one of the scenes.

For the outfit I am going to use a fur coat, which is seen in one of the scenes on Rachael. I am also going to recreate a few of the outfits seen throughout the film. I have also thought about recreating the smoking scene using an unlit cigarette and using the smoke from an e-cigarette so that no fire alarms are not set off, this will also produce a lot more smoke.

PH1004: Fashion Film: Final Outcome

This is our final outcome for our 30 second fashion film. We chose to create a GIF because we had learnt how to make them in the workshop and we thought that it was a good creative idea. This GIF was made up of 217 frames and took on total about 6 hours to complete including photographing and putting the GIFs together.
