For this project we were given a trend, a word and a piece of clothing which had to be incorporated into our images. The item of clothing was a red top, the trend was punk and the word was lady like. For this project we had to choose four of a favourite images from the shoot.
We had to work in a group for this project. I found this
hard, as it was a big group of seven people. It was hard for people to give
their ideas across, as when working in a big group there tends to be people who
take over and don’t fully listen to everyone’s ideas.
We chose to shoot at night because that was the only time
that people were available. We found this to be quite challenging because of
the lack of lighting. On the night our original model cancelled so we had to
find one quickly. We chose to shoot outside of 53°, we chose this location because
of the edgy look of the metal walls.
My ideas for the shoot
As a way to incorporate punk and ladylike we could use the
outfit to fit the style of punk and pose the model in ladylike style.
Top: Red top as this was the item of clothing we had to use.
Skirt/trousers: Tartan skirt. Leather look trousers. Leather
look skirt. Dark coloured jeans. Tartan tights. Fishnet tights.
Shoes: Irregular choice style shoes. Spiked shoes. Black
heels. Red heels.
Accessories: Leather jacket. Simple jewellery. Statement
necklaces and rings. Patterend scarves. Bold hair accessories.
Location: Bus station. Train station. On campus. White plain
walls.
